Mystery Science Theater 3000 Team Coming Back To Television

The bots are back, sort of.  Zap2It has reported that cult hit series (and my personal favorite show of all time) Mystery Science Theater 3000, lovingly known to fans as MST3K, will be coming back to television under the RiffTrax name. RiffTrax is the current incarnation, but with its return to television, Kevin Murphy will be reprising his role as the lovable robot Tom Servo, and Bill Corbett is also returning as Crow T. Robot.

The format of the show is still unknown, so it’s still up in the air if fans will get to see the satellite of love onscreen.

The new show will be airing on the National Geographic Channel (its former home was on Comedy Central) on April 1, 2014.

But, of course this should all be taken with a grain of salt considering the April 1st date 😉

Our calendars are marked.
