Get it before it gets taken down!
It looks like another PC remake of PT is out and this one is about as close as one might get to the original PS4 release. You can snag the game for free (while you can) over at itch.io from user Artur Łączkowski. This isn’t a 1:1 copy of the original marketing demo for the now canceled Silent Hills, but’s it’s pretty close in a number of key moments.
This isn’t the first time a PT clone has hit the PC as people have been trying to recreate the cult phenomenon that is no longer available on the PS4. All those that came before have been taken down by Konami, because, you know, Konami. Thankfully, at least one designer that worked on a clone snagged himself an internship over at Konami for his efforts.
These clones are about as close as we are going to get unless you still have a PS4 that downloaded the demo to your account. There’s probably no chance that Konami will release the PT demo again and whatever they do with Silent Hill will probably end up as a pachinko machine.
