After Complaints About Blood Effects In Selaco, Shooter Dev Changes Blood Effects To Cum

Selaco

Cleanse yourself of them cum stains that’s in you!

Steam Next Fest is a week-long showcase of upcoming PC games, and it’s running this week. And one game shown there, Selaco, by Altered Orbit Studios, not only got shown off, but also released a demo. And the very DOOM-like game got some degree of guff for it’s pink and purple blood.

You can probably guess why this Simpsons scene came to mind.

Anyway, while the game runs in GZDoom and draws inspiration not only from Doom and a number of other sources, notably F.E.A.R, people seem to have taken an exception to it’s Star Trek VI Klingon blood. This is where Metacorp, a completely different dev, comes in. Metacorp also made a GZDoom-based FPS, Beyond Sunset, so they know how to do things in GZDoom. And so, in response to all this bad blood, they made a mod for Selaco that changes it from pink and purple to sticky white cum.

The resulting response is exactly what you’re probably thinking it is, which is proof that everybody still has some form of childish humor in them.

The irony of all of this, though? There’s an in-game reason for the pink and purple blood. And it’s not the only color that will be in the finished game; there will also be red blood where appropriate.

Regardless, the Selacoom mod isn’t out yet. Then again, the game it’s a mod of isn’t out yet, either. Altered Orbit jokes on the Steam page that it’ll be out in 2255. So your guess is as good as mine.
