Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC is the little engine that could. What was once a slower paced, under appreciated show has finally found it legs and has been playing a vital role in the overall arc of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Deadline is now reporting that current S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Nick Blood and Adrianne Palicki who respectively play Lance Hunter and Barbara “Bobbi” Morse (Mockingbird to Marvel fans) are being eyed as main stars to the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spin-off series.
While we don’t have any solid information regarding this new series, we know that the pieces for it will be laid during this season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Palicki only just joined the team this season so Marvel must have a grand scheme here with this sort of push on the television front. No word if she will get the chance to meet up with Hawkeye, but there is now the possibility to set up such an arc.
