Sega’s pre-Sonic mascot Alex Kidd is back and sporting a new visual style

Alex Kidd has had it rough ever since Sonic the Hedgehog stole all of his thunder. Kidd was the backbone of Sega’s push into the home market with a number of games under his belt. Many will say that Alex Kidd was the epitome of the ’80s platformer.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX is rebuilt from the ground up and chocked full of new stages, new bosses, and a retro-mode for those wanting that classic look and feel.
