It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia renewed for two more seasons

Today is a big day for the five most heartless sociopaths on television: Deadline has announced that FX has renewed It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia for an eleventh and twelfth season that will keep Paddy’s Pub on the air through 2017. More amazingly, this will tie Sunny with My Three Sons for the title of longest-running live-action comedy series in TV history.

What’s more, FX has also picked up an untitled show from RCG Productions (the production house of Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Glenn Howerton) and Luvh Rakhe (New Girl) that will star Tracy Morgan. Both shows are expected to premier in January 2015, and my comedy boner is expected to last much longer.
