Amazon Acquires Whole Foods, Deploys Discounts

Whole Foods Amazon

Maybe we won’t have to call it Whole Paycheck anymore?

Amazon just closed a deal to acquire Whole Foods, and you can already see the difference in pricing. Organic produce has had its prices cut nearly in half from what they once were. Staples like milk, eggs, meats and the like; thoroughly reduced in price.

As a matter of fact, Whole Foods may well now be priced competitively. Which is a total 180 from what it once was. As a matter of fact, many of the store chain’s employees worked late to make sure all of the signage reflected the change of pricing on time. So long, Asparagus Water; you weren’t good for a damn thing.

I’d buy that for a dollar. Actually, I hate asparagus, so I wouldn’t. No one would. You’re dumb, asparagus water.

It certainly seems like Amazon’s acquisition of the chain is going to do them wonders. At the very least, Whole Foods is less likely to Hoover several hundred dollars out of your pocket next time you go.
