Amazon is Picking Up The Expanse

Be honest: how many of you actually watch the SyFy network anymore?

The Expanse is one of those shows I always hear people talking about. Unfortunately, it’s on SyFy, and they’re really good at killing shows that people like.

Well, fret no longer, for Jeff Bezos and his loadsamoney have come to the rescue. Alcon Entertainment, who makes the show, said this in a statement:

We couldn’t be more excited that The Expanse is going to continue on Amazon Prime! We are deeply grateful that Jeff Bezos, Jen Salke, and their team at Amazon have shown such faith in our show. We also want to thank Laura Lancaster, head of Alcon Television for her tireless efforts. We are fully aware that this wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for the staggering outpouring of support from the most creative, hardest working sci-fi fans around the world. From reddit campaigns to airplanes, we say thank you. It worked!

Bezos has stated that The Expanse will be a Prime Original “for the coming seasons.” The press release also confirmed season 4. So, if you’re a fan, get hyped!
