AMC Takes on MoviePass With Their Stubs A-List Program

AMC

Shots fired!

MoviePass has leaked a little blood into the water, and the long adversarial AMC took notice. Because now, they’re launching a competing service under their Stubs reward program titled Stubs A-List.

For $20 a month, subscribers get to see three movies a week, with no limitations. That means you can see movies in IMAX and 3D for no additional charge, as well as repeat viewings. The service also allows you to order tickets online, as well as make reservations, because there’s no physical card involved.

Stubs A-List starts June 26. And, as an added bonus, it also includes Stubs Premiere services like free concessions upgrades. AMC is really putting the screws to MoviePass here, if you work the numbers. I’m actually kind of sad that I no longer live near an AMC theater.
