Angry Birds FPS: First Person Slingshot is happening because reasons

Coming this autumn, Angry Birds FPS: First Person Slingshot will provide a first-person slingshot to let players see those animated creatures and objects overlaid onto their actual environment, bringing Angry Birds to life like never before – right in users’ homes.

Coming to the Magic Leap One platform, the game sure is Angry Birds. Sure, it looks like a bit of fun taking the game and laying over the real world, but if you’re spending all that money on this AR tech is Angry Birds really what you want to be playing?

It feels like buying a PlayStation 4 Pro just to play a game like Super Bomberman R. Sure, it’s a neat game but does it really make up for the up-front cost in terms of investment?

Still, the idea of AR that actually works well is great but I not trust-fund baby so outside of the fun we have at CES every year, AR is well outside of my budget.
