Archer returning for two more seasons

File this under hell yeah: FX has renewed Archer for a sixth and a seventh season, meaning it will be on the air until at least 2016, and probably longer. This piece from The AV Club echoes a lot of my sentiments, namely a lack of surprise. After all, Archer remains one of FX’s highest-rated and best-reviewed shows, and with Saint George sure to join Anger Management as one of the network’s few shitty shows, it’s a good idea for FX to keep this ace up their sleeve.

I just wonder how long Adam Reed will be able to keep up the Archer Vice plotline, but Archer pulled off a complete shift in story in this season, so it’s a safe bet that Reed knows what he’s doing.

This is awesome news, so if you need me, I’ll be reenacting that picture up there.
