Babylon 5 actor Jerry Doyle has died, his family confirmed via the actors Twitter today. He was 60 years old.
The official statement reads: “The family of Jerry Doyle is sad to announce Jerry’s passing.” The cause of death has yet to been revealed.
TMZ broke the story and noted that the actor was found unresponsive in his home in Las Vegas sometime on Wednesday.
Doyle was best known to sci-fi fans for playing Michael Garibaldi on Babylon 5. The show lasted for five-years and Doyle would go on to reprise his role in several Babylon 5 movies.
