Yes friends, the time has come. Battleborn has seen its final update. Free-to-play was unable to save it from an incredibly small playerbase.
The final patch introduces some balance changes, new taunts and skins, and new finishers. But you might be right in thinking it all pathos. The game should stay up for the foreseeable future, though, so maybe it will see a second life among modders or the like. Probably not, though.
Normally it’s best to go out with a bang. Battleborn didn’t have that luxury. But it did have Sword–Vegeta. Which, as it turns out, is not, in fact, Roronoa Zoro.
