The original Rage was a really cool concept mixing FPS and racing that just never quite took off for one reason or another. It felt a lot like a tech demo that never really went anywhere. And if you were playing it on PC you had a mess of problems. Hell, even in 2018 the game barely works on PC.
Thanks to the Walmart leak week we covered last we got word that Rage 2 was in their system. That was a surprise to everyone. The original Rage has become a cult-classic over the years and it should be interesting where Bethesda takes things with the much more colorful looking sequel.
Today Bethesda dropped a reveal trailer that feels more Borderlands than the dark and gritty original Rage. But we won’t know how the game plays until tomorrow when Bethesda drops a full gameplay reveal. We’ll also find out much more when we head down to E3 next month.
