Bethesda Gets Reamed On Twitter Over $276 Fallout 76 Jacket

Fallout 76

Feature: Can clip through walls, objects, and limbs.

Bethesda has had a rough time of it since the launch of Fallout 76. First there was the delightful crash caused by multiple nukes being launched on launch. And then… then, there was the Bag Incident. But last week, they really put their foot in it.

On Wednesday, over on Bethesda’s Fallout Twitter account, they unveiled a blue leather Fallout 76 jacket. A jacket that would be sold for $276 (the cheek of that; you may as well stab their wallets for a full $300, Todd).

Naturally, people took a look at the jacket, and the price tag (and the “garment bag” it comes in), and were having none of it. And thus, the dunking commenced. A few of my personal favorites from the thread:

Honestly, if you’re like a moth to the flame, and you have to drop nearly $300 on one of these, you can find the here. Just don’t wreck a GameStop when you find out it isn’t “real premium lambskin leather”.
