Black Friday Comes Early For Target This Year

Target

Will have their deals as early as October.

Everyone always talks about the war on Christmas, but no one ever talks about the war on Halloween. Specifically, how Halloween is frequently not even done and dusted when stores start rolling out Christmas shit. Pretty sure there was a movie based on this. But that’s not important. Because in this case, Target will be rolling out their Black Friday deals in October in an attempt to keep crowds at their stores down during the pandemic.

As a matter of fact, Target promises that not only will their deals begin in October, most of these deals will be available online. In addition, they’ll also be offering both pickup and same day delivery service for some 20,000 items.

From their press release:

Starting in October—and stretching out the savings. Let’s face it: Historically, deal hunting and holiday shopping can mean crowded events, and this isn’t a year for crowds. That’s why our biggest holiday deals will be available earlier than ever, so you can shop safely and conveniently without worrying about missing out on deals that usually come later in the season. Starting in October and continuing throughout the season, you’ll find Target’s lowest prices of the year on items in stores and online, giving you the flexibility to get the gifts you want—when and how you want—at the Target value you love.
