Black Panther Writer Hired To Write Call Of Duty Movie Sequel

Call of Duty

I’m as surprised as you.

Activision Blizzard Studios has hired Joe Robert Cole (Black Panther) to write the sequel to the Call of Duty movie. And yes, I was as surprised to find out that there was a first one as you are.

The studio announced that the sequel would be directed by Stefano Sollima (Sicario 2) last February. The presidents Activision Blizzard Studios, Stacey Sher and Nick van Dyk, will produce, alongside Activision Blizzard chief executives Bobby Kotick and Coco Francini.

Other details are currently light. The studio does, however want the script to be ready when the film goes into production next year. Which is saying something, because the first one isn’t even out.
