But most importantly, he ded

Lucasfilm just announced a new Star Wars series for Disney+, Disney’s streaming service. And this new live-action series will be based around Rogue One’s Cassian Andor (Diego Luna). And i’d guess it’s a prequel, because, spoiler alert, he dies in that movie. They all died in that movie.

“Going back to the Star Wars universe is very special for me,” said Luna. “I have so many memories of the great work we did together and the relationships I made throughout the journey. We have a fantastic adventure ahead of us, and this new exciting format will give us the chance to explore this character more deeply.”

According to StarWars.com, the series will be a spy thriller, featuring  missions against the empire. Right now, there’s no announced premiere date. But, hey, grist for the mill, right?
