CBS Renews Big Bang Theory For 3 Additional Seasons

Variety is reporting that CBS television has renewed “The Big Bang Theory” for another three seasons. The show has been the number one comedy on television for some time now and CBS is hoping this continues with this mega deal.

While the show has been renewed, Warner Bros. is still currently in talks with the starts in hopes to renew his contracts for another three seasons.

Don’t let all this contract negotiation news scare all you comedy/science fans as it’s almost certain each cast member will renew. I mean what else are they going to do? There hasn’t been much demand for these actors elsewhere.

Chuck Lorre, the creator of the show, seems to the Golden Boy (pun very much intended) over at CBS with both Big Bang and Two & a Half Men continuing to do well in the ratings game.

Couple this with three additional comedies, one of which is in its first season, one starts to wonder if he is beginning to spread himself too thin or if he just can’t say no to all the CBS money they keep wheelbarrowing to his door.
