The latest Injustice 2 trailer revealed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment showcases the recently revealed Cheetah.
Cheetah has always been, at least for me, a difficult characters to transfer from the pages of a comic book into any other media. The cartoon versions of the character seem to be pretty good, but any sort of “real-world” interpretation just makes her seem like an X-Men reject.
Her depiction in Injustice 2 is no different, as the animal thing never really clicks with me. Maybe I’ve just been conditioned to like anime cat girls (thanks Darkstalkers) or something. Also, she looks like she’s wearing a diaper.
All that said, Cheetah does seem to come with some formidable moves. But the biggest thing to note is that her ultimate move is a pretty spot on homage to the ultimate Spider-Man has had since the Marvel crossover fighting gamed began.
