Cyberpunk 2077 Gets PS1 Demake In PS4’s Dreams

Dreams

You can practically hear the startup sound terrifying the shit out of you late at night.

So, you may or may not be familiar with Dreams for the PS4. But, Media Molecule’s upcoming release aims to be a powerful creation tool in addition to being a fun game.

Now, the game isn’t out yet, but some do have access to it. YouTuber Bearly Regal put in the effort to “demake” the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 in Dreams such that it resembles a PS1 game. And, yes, that means all the pixelated textures and chunky geometry you’d expect.

This isn’t Bearly Regal’s first PS1 demake made in Dreams, though. He’s also done the same to E̶a̶t̶ ̶S̶t̶a̶n̶d̶i̶n̶g̶ Death Stranding. He also gave Metal Gear Solid an HD remake in the engine, as well.

As for Dreams, though, it’s currently still in Early Access, though it’s planned for release on February 14th this year. Moreover, Media Molecule has stated that they want games made in Dreams to be published beyond just the PS4. So who knows? Dreams may become the RPG Maker of the modern era.
