Superhero University.
I honestly haven’t followed any of the Arrowverse shows in a while, but here’s some news for ya. David Ramsey, who plays John Diggle/Spartan in the Arrowverse shows, is getting his own show. Per Deadline, the show, titled Justice U, will feature John mentoring a number of young heroes. The full summary:
In the new series, which is set in the Arrowverse, after years of fighting alongside masked heroes, Diggle embarks on a new mission to recruit five young meta humans to live undercover as freshmen at a prestigious university. There he will oversee their education and train them to become the heroes of tomorrow.
If the series goes to pilot, Ramsey will also have the opportunity to direct that pilot, and I’d imagine episodes in the series if things get that far. In addition to that, Ramsey also struck a deal with Berlanti Productions to direct episodes all of the other shows in the Arrowverse, as well.
Right now, there’s no word on any supporting cast, but co-executive producer of Superman and Lois, Michael Narducci, is attached.
