Dead or Alive 6 coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One

The folk over at Koei Tecmo have announced that the next installment in the Dead or Alive series is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Dead or Alive 6 will be using an all-new game engine that should be putting out some high-quality visuals and a bigger focus on facial animations. And, of course, the game will be 4K compatible.

The team at Koei Tecmo say this new engine will allow for tons of details for a fighting game. You can expect to see sweat on fighters as well as more realistic wounds.

But just because a new engine is in play the game itself will stick to the core fighting style that the series is known for. This is still a Dead or Alive game and Koei Tecmo is sticking with what works.

What is new will be the new combo system along with new special systems that the team have dubbed Fatal Rush, and Break Gauge.

These new features were added to make it easier for those new to fighting games, or the Dead of Alive series to be able to jump in and have a good time without having to become EVO ready.

Dead or Alive 6 will launch sometime in 2019 and we should see and hear more about the game during E3.
