Pokémon is celebrating 20 years, and with that Nintendo is releasing a lot of goodies for fans, including a new game; sort of. The company has announced Detective Pikachu, a game that is very different from any Pokemon branded game that has com before it. Nintendo is saying that the game is a “cinematic adventure” and will see the player (trainer) teaming up with Detective Pikachu to solve all sort of mystery’s (probably not any murders though) via puzzles and the like. The most striking thing isn’t that this is a strange spin-off game as we all remember ‘Hey You, Pikachu!’, but that Pikachu speaks in a very non Pikachu manner!

Detective Pikachu sounds like a forty-year old man that has seen some real shit! The game will be available for Nintendo 3DS, and hits Japan February 3.
