Diggers Unearth E.T. Cartridges From Desert Landfill

The legends were true!

The long held urban legend in the gaming world stated that Atari secretly dumped millions of copies of unsold cartridges of E.T. for the Atari 2600 console in a New Mexico landfill.

The picture below (vis the IGN.com instagram) shows diggers pulling up copies of said game.
