Dying Light 2 gameplay video hits the web

Techland finally revealed its dramatic, previously unreleased 26-minute Dying Light 2 gameplay video that brings back the crazy moves and brutal combat gameplay, evolving infected, and the next iteration of the day/night cycle.

Presented behind closed doors at E3 (it was pretty neat), the video further showcases how player’s choices have far-reaching consequences on both the narrative and the world around them that results in a playable sandbox that is 4x larger than the original Dying Light game.

I’m not really a fan of zombie games or the zombie genre itself outside Romero’s classic trilogy, but I had hours upon hours of fun running around in Dying Light. I still go back to the game from time to time as it holds up really well. Let’s just hope that the gameplay trailer translates into something when the game finally drops.
