E.T. Video Game Dig Set For Apr. 26th, Open To The Public

Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages… err, my apologies for the P.T.Barnum spectacle, but on April 26, 2014 the dig will begin for the long-lost, once thought a myth, buried Atari cartridges in the New Mexico desert.

What many regard as the worst game ever made, and the catalyst for the video game crash, E.T. is once again making headlines.

Oh, and this is sure to be a spectacle indeed, as the people behind un upcoming documentary have invited the general public to the dig site.

Will video game history be made?

Will millions of E.T. cartridges be brought up from the depths of video game hell?

How well do Atari games hold up after years buried?
