EA’s Origin Access Premier Has Gone Live

Origin

It starts.

Remember way back around E3, where EA said that there would be a new service on Origin that gives you free access to a large number of games in their catalog for a monthly fee? Yeah, neither do I, but they’ve followed through on that declaration. Because Origin Access Premier is now live.

The service is a new tier of Origin’s Access membership. It offers over 100 of their games, playable in perpetuity. Well, as long as you keep your membership up. This even includes games like Battlefield 5, Madden NFL 19, and even Anthem at, or a few days ahead of, release. There are even some third party releases mixed in.

Granted, it’s going to cost you. $14.99 a month, or $99.99 for a yearlong subscription. But that’s counterbalanced by a 105 discount on any purchases by members. And, oh yes. it also meant the death of Origin’s On The House program. So, gonna be honest with you, kind of a mixed bag for me.
