Live by the dipshit, die by the dipshit.

The Epic Games vs. Apple trial has officially begun, and it got off to a bang. And by bang, I mean raucous din caused by the court not properly muting the public lines listening in to the trial remotely.

Per The Verge, well over 200 participants called in to the line. And once the trial got underway, they started shouting into their mics. Some calling for the judge to #FreeFortnite, some promoting their YouTube channels, and some even talking amongst themselves.

Several attempts were made to mute these lines, with most failing. Order was finally established some 15 minutes later so that Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney could state his case against Apple. In addition, the call saw several drops in audio across the hearing.

Needless to say, probably not the sort of thing a judge looks fondly on.
