Internet

Things are about to get super screwy.

You know that copyright bill the EU’s been trying to get afloat? Well, it just passed.

A total of 19 EU council members passed the directive, including France and Germany. Finland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Poland and Sweden voted against. Belgium, Estonia and Slovenia abstained. But the ayes had it in the end, and now all European countries have 24 months to apply the directive to their legislations.

Well, it’s been nice knowing you, Europe. We do have a print version. Might want to look into that.
