EVO 2020 Is Canceled

EVO 2020 has officially been canceled. This comes on the heels of reports that EVO CEO Joey Cuellar had been placed on administrative leave following accusations of sexual misconduct with underage teen boys in the mid-to-late 90s. 

Tony Cannon has taken over as the new CEO, and has stated that he will be “prioritizing greater accountability across Evo, both internally and at our events.”

Refunds will be issued to players who have purchased entry into theis year’s online event in part due to the coronavirus pandemic that has swept the globe.

For his part, Cuellar took to Twitter and released a statement regarding the current turmoil noting:
