Fable is Microsoft’s greatest could have been. The series just never managed to live up to the hype that its creator pushed down everyone’s throats. The series just kept getting worse and worse with needless additions and games that never materialized.
But now the series is getting a new chance with a new developers. Playground Games is rebooting the entire series and might just be finally able to give us that open-world adventure the we were promised all the way back in the days of the Xbox 360.
