I’m gonna wreck it!
Aside from the internet at large, Wreck-It Ralph has also infiltrated one of the current most popular games. Only in this case, it’s in real life: in Fortnite, specifically.
Fortnite streamer MozzzyyyTwitch noticed the character on a screen in Risky Reels. The cameo isn’t huge; he walks on to the screen, waves, and walks off. Naturally, this has forced everyone to put on their tinfoil hats and speculate that it could mean something big in the works. That said, it could just be a tiny promotion for the film.
That said, Epic does have a working relationship with Disney, and specifically through Fortnite. They did add Thanos to the game in promotion of Avengers: Infinity War. So maybe bigger things are on the horizon. Who’s to say?
