Hey, you got some PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds in my Fortnite!
Yeah, Fortnite just got a free spinoff. And the best part is that you can play it right now.
Fortnite Battle Royale drops 100 players into a map with nothing but a glider and a pickaxe to fight it out. And much like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the last one standing wins. And just like vanilla Fortnite, building things is still pretty important, because that’s wht will give you an edge.
You can download Fortnite Battle Royale now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. And rest easy in the knowledge that all Epic actually charges for are cosmetic items.
Granted, not everybody is happy about the game. Specifically, Bluehole, the developers of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds:

Furthermore, he nebulously mentions taking “action” against this relatively flagrant similarity. So, maybe you’ll want to download Fortnite Battle Royale while the getting is good. Just sayin’
