FX’s Y: The Last Man Canceled Before Its First Season Finishes Airing

Y: The Last Man

More like “1: The Only Season”.

FX’s Y: The Last Man, based on the comic series of the same name by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra, has been canceled. And before its final episodes had even aired, too. That being said, they will air; rather, there won’t be a season 2, according to showrunner Eliza Clark.

Regardless, there are three more episodes of the show left in the can. One of them airs tonight, Monday, October 18th.

As to whether the show gets picked up by another network, as Clark seems to hope? That’s anyone’s guess. I’ve wanted something to happen with Terriers for the past decade, and nothing’s panned out. Sometimes, shows just die.
