Google announces their new $150 Chromebook line of laptops

Google is making another big push in the laptop market with its cheapest set of Chromebook laptops yet. These latest laptops the Hisense Chromebook and the Haier Chromebook 11 will both be priced at the insanely low price of $149.

These new laptops are currently available for pre-order beginning today from both Walmart and Amazon and are set to ship set sometime in April. Both machines are equipped with quad-core ARM processors from Chinese company Rockchip and will include 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage.

These Chromebooks will also have the standard bells and whistles including an HDMI port, two USB 2.0 ports, and a MicroSD card slot. These laptops are pretty small when compared to their big brothers and sisters, but both will feature 11.6-inch, 1,366×768 pixel displays.
