Fox’s Gotham casts Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle

According to Variety, Fox and Warner Bros have cast their Bruce Wayne in the upcoming Batman origins series Gotham. His name is David Mazouz, once a cast member on Touch, the Keifer Sutherland show no one saw.

Mazouz, pictured above wearing an adorable little suit, is confirmed as Bruce Wayne, but Warner Bros made sure to emphasize that at no point during Gotham‘s run will he become Batman. That gives me the hilarious mental image of some studio executive screaming “You’ll never be Batman!” at a little kid.

Also joining Gotham will be Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle, described as a “teenage orphan and street thief,” or as I like to put it, “Sin from Arrow.” You might recognize Bicondova as Girl #1 from Girlhouse.

So now we just need to cast the kid from Modern Family as the Penguin or some shit like that. Man, I’m being really hard on a show that I will watch every second of.
