Talk about a surprise announcement! Just as Microsoft was closing out their Gamescom 2015 presentation, the company made a big announcement to one of the lesser known Halo spin-offs. Halo Wars 2, the follow-up to the strategy game that hit the Xbox 360 back in 2009 is coming in 2016. The game is being developed by The Creative Assembly who are no strangers to the strategy game genre.
As a huge fan of the RTS genre I am beyond excited to get my hands on this once it drops. Sure, it’s really nice that it’s making its way onto the Xbox One, but I’ll be there day one when it drops on the PC. The reveal was light on the details, but Microsoft did drop a teaser trailer on us. You can check it out below:
