Halo Wars 2 Takes Art To The Streets

Earlier this month, Xbox and 343 Industries announced their partnership with artists Grzegorz “Gabz” Domaradzki, Craig Drake and Kevin Tong for the Halo Wars 2 Original Art Series: a limited edition collection featuring six original prints.

The Xbox and 343 Industries teams have taken it one step further and have brought the Halo Wars 2 Original Art Series to life in six cities across the country. Local artists in each city are bringing fans the opportunity to experience an interactive look into the Art Series by transforming a piece from the collection into massive spray painted murals.

In addition to the real-world murals, Xbox and Snapchat have partnered to bring the Halo Wars 2 Original Art Series designs to life for fans across the US. Each of the 6 spray painted murals feature a unique Snapcode, unlocking an exclusive Halo Wars 2 Art Series filter for a limited time only. Fans can visit their local mural or Xbox social channels to scan and collect them all!  More details, including a video of the murals being created, below.

A limited edition drop of all six prints from Grzegorz “Gabz” Domaradzki, Craig Drake and Kevin Tong will be available for fans through 343 Industries and Acme Archives at Hero Complex Gallery on Feb. 16 at 10AM PST.
