Historically Inspired Psychological Thriller, ‘The Town of Light’ Coming To Consoles

New Live Action Trailer Highlights the Game’s Solemn Story of Mental Illness, Headed to PS4, Xbox One and PC on June 6 in Physical and Digital Formats.

The chilling, first-person psychological adventure game The Town of Light will release on June 6, 2017 in physical and digital formats. Featuring numerous improvements and new supporting content for its console debut, The Town of Light is headed to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Distribution of the physical edition will be delivered in partnership with THQNordic.

A live action trailer, featuring the track ‘I Will Find You’ from Icelandic singer-songwriter Sóley, has been released alongside today’s announcement to highlight the story-driven game’s reality-grounded premise, lending further insight into the fictional story of Renée.

Set in the Volterra Psychiatric Asylum – a former mental treatment facility based in Tuscany, Italy – The Town of Light is based on extensive research and inspired by first-hand accounts of the asylum’s patients.

Developed by LKA.it and co-published with Wired Productions, The Town of Light is headed to PS4, Xbox One, and PC in physical and digital formats on June 6, 2017 for $19.99.
