“JOO TAKE MAH EMMERROWDS!”

In an Instagram and Twitter post, Idris Elba has seemingly confirmed that he’ll be voicing Knuckles in the sequel to last year’s Sonic The Hedgehog movie. Which is impressive, since he’s in everything right now (most recently The Suicide Squad). I imagine it’s hard for him to fit a disco nap in his schedule.

Well, he’s in the posse now; there’s no going back. Just ask Jaleel White. You’re here forever, Mr. Elba. Enjoy the tunes.

Honestly, borrowing elements from Sonic 3 is smarter than from Sonic 2 for the sequel. Personal love for Sonic 2 notwithstanding, there’s more elements to play with in 3.
