Did you purchase Guitar Hero Live sometime in 2018? Well, if you did Activision says you are entitled for a complete refund.
Any customer who purchased Guitar Hero Live between December 2017 and January 2019 is entitled to get their cash back.
No official reason has been given for the refunds, but since the Guitar Hero Live servers went down December 2018, that should be a big hint as to why.
It’s something that we are going to see more and more; games that completely go away once the online service goes away.
Now, you’ll still be able to play the core set of music included on the disc, so the game isn’t totally dead. But with how much Activision pushed and praised the Guitar Hero TV service it sure feels like it.
