IKEA and Asus Republic Of Gamers Team Up For Gaming Furniture

IKEA

Swedish RBG meatballs, anyone?

It seems that you will soon be able to festoon your living space in inexpensive RGB furniture (or at least, that’s what I’m guessing it’ll be like). IKEA has teamed up with Asus’s Republic of Gamers brand to bring gaming furniture into the homes of all and sundry. Or at least, eventually.

The line is designed by IKEA’s product development center in Shanghai and the ASUS Design Center in Taipei and Shanghai. The affordable line of gaming furniture will hit China first, filtering out to Chinese IKEA stores in February 2021. Presumably, it’ll hit it’s own IKEA world tour sometime thereafter if it performs well.

As to what the line will look like and what pieces it’ll contain? That’s anyone’s guess. Safe money’s on at least a desk and chair. Maybe a couch and couple of different tables? And RGB all around? Because gamer stuff, am I right?
