Do you have Amazon Prime? Well, be prepared to shell out a few dollars more for it. Starting today, Amazon is bumping up the cost of membership to $12.99 for new members.
The two dollar increase might not seem like all that much, but it does add up. To put it in perspective, you (and I mean you, my churchmouse ass can’t do subscriptions) were paying $131.88 a year for Amazon Prime. You’ll now be paying $155.88 a year for that same subscription.
That said, Amazon Prime is still a good deal if you can swing it; the shipping alone is a huge boon. The good news is, if you’re already a subscriber, that increase doesn’t kick in until February 18. You just have to know that it’s going to cost you a bit more.
