Sort of just walked into this news this morning as I tried to load up Instagram via my Nexus 5. I have the service set to auto login (like most I assume) and instead got a very strange login screen that I can’t ever remember seeing before. It seems that the service is suffering from a problem as many users are having issues accessing their accounts.
The problem began around 10am PST and is still affecting people as I type this. Soon after the error began popping up Instagram made an official announcement via their Twitter acknowledging the issue and that they were working on it. No word on what caused this error or who maybe/may not be responsible. All I now is hundreds of users are crying out that they can’t like the latest cat picture or nonsensical Kardashian drivel.
