John Cena to Play Duke Nukem in Movie Adaptation

Duke Nukem

Let’s be honest, you know what I’m linking to here.

It’s been announced that John Cena is set to play Duke Nukem in a movie adaptation of the character. Granted, they’ve cast him despite the fact that they don’t have a script or anything.

So he could still leave the prodution if said script isn’t to his liking. Via a Cinemablend interview with Andrew Form and Brad Fuller:

Yeah, that’s what we’re working with now. He is. Yes. We don’t have a script yet, so that is confirmed at this point but if he reads the script and he doesn’t like the script I’m sure there’s ways that he could pull out, but right now he’s our guy.

To be fair, Cena will definitely look the part. The biggest difficulty, I’d imagine, aside from the fact that adapting Duke to the screen is one hell of a challenge, will be filming.

After all, you can’t see him, a problem cameras probably have, too.
