Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back is still happening, even though I had totally forgot about it after the game dropped a teaser trailer back before E3 this summer; and maybe it was better that way. The game sure has an uphill battle, especially after the amazing success that Sonic Mania enjoyed.
Bubsy was nothing more that a Sonic knockoff at a time when every single company wanted to have their very own mascot character. The 90s were a lot like Japan is now: have a mascot for anything that you can sell.
