Moving On.

At the beginning of the year, Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland was charged with domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend. Today, those charges were dismissed.

The news came from Roiland himself. He tweeted out an image detailing his thoughts on the matter, which included a determination to move forward post-lawsuit.

Speaking to Kotaku, a spokesperson for the Orange County District Attorney’s office said that the case was dismissed “for lack of sufficient evidence to prove the case beyond reasonable doubt as a result of additional information that came to light in the investigation.”

As of right now, there’s no word on if there will be some form of reconciliation between Roiland and Adult Swim, or between him and the game studio he founded, Squanch Games, which he walked away from at the beginning of the suit.
