Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment today unveiled a new Injustice 2 trailer that casts a spotlight on the escalating conflict between Batman’s resistance and Superman’s regime. Players can witness the Caped Crusader and his unlikely allies battle imposing threats from all sides in Shattered Alliances Part 2.

NetherRealm Studios has never been all that great at crafting engaging stories in their Mortal Kombat games, (how many story reboots is it now?) but with DC helping out that has clearly changed. In fact, it has changed so much that the story trailers for Injustice 2 are already superior to the film offerings from DC. Strange times we live in.

Injustice 2  will be available for PS4 and Xbox One on 19th May 2017.
