Mega Ran Does Classic TMNT With “T.U.R.T.L.E. Power” Music Video

Mega Ran TMNT

Mega Ran drops radical “T.U.R.T.L.E. Power” music video, paying tribute to classic TMNT through a catchy collaboration with nerdcore rapper/producer Klopfenpop. The familiar theme from the original TMNT film and visuals from the TMNT arcade game allow this bodacious “T.U.R.T.L.E. Power” remix to get all of our minds off of the presumed forthcoming disaster that is Michael Bay’s TMNT remake. While the “Raphael is the leader” line may be a little off-putting to hardcore TMNT fans the song is still a lot of fun. You can check out the video below.

“The TMNT arcade games were some of my favorite memories of being a kid,” reflects Mega Ran. “We spent pockets full of quarters on those games. I wanted to revisit those awesome childhood moments with this video.”

With animated sprites by Tron Bonne and a chiptuned-out remake of Partners N Kryme’s 1990 hit from the first TMNT film, “TURTLE Power,” the new video sports footage from all your favorite TMNT games on NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis. Go ninja, go-and press play!

Power” music video release kicks off the beginning of a lengthy tour for Mega Ran that will take him across North America ahead of the August 22 video premiere of an action-packed Mega Ran documentary titledMega-Lo-Mania that chronicles one of his recent tours The documentary will be available online starting on August 25, and can be pre-ordered now to score fans exclusive liner notes and free downloadable live tracks that have never before been made available.
